EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about listening to and repeating what the mu’adhdhin says when they call for prayer. The mu’adhdhin is a person who calls out for people to come and pray in a mosque or other places of worship. In this hadith, it was narrated that Abu Umamah bin Sahl heard Mu'awiyah say that he heard the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W.) repeating what the mu’adhdhin said when he called out for prayer. This shows us how important it is to listen carefully and attentively when someone calls out for prayer, as even Prophet Muhammad himself repeated what was said by the mu’adhdhin in order to show respect and reverence towards him and his words. It also teaches us that we should be respectful towards those who are calling out for prayer, as well as those who are leading prayers in mosques or other places of worship, as they have an important role in our religious lives and should be respected accordingly.
