EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the final words of the Islamic call to prayer, known as the Adhan. The last two phrases of this call are “Allahu Akbar” and “La Ilaha Illallah”. These phrases mean “God is great” and “There is no god but God” respectively. This hadith was narrated by Al-Aswad from Bilal, who was a companion of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Through this hadith we learn that it is important to remember God in our daily lives and to recognize His greatness by saying these two phrases at least five times a day during prayer time.
