Combining Prayers on Al-Muzdalifah

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) combined two prayers on the day of Al-Muzdalifah, and prayed Subh before its time.

It was narrated that 'Abdullah said: "I never saw the Messenger of Allah combine any two prayers except in Al-Muzdalifah, and on that day he prayed Subh before its time".
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ مَا رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ صَلاَتَيْنِ إِلاَّ بِجَمْعٍ وَصَلَّى الصُّبْحَ يَوْمَئِذٍ قَبْلَ وَقْتِهَا

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice of combining two prayers on the day of Al-Muzdalifah. On this day, he also prayed Subh before its time. This shows us that it is permissible to combine two prayers in certain circumstances and that it is also permissible to pray a prayer before its prescribed time. It teaches us that we should be flexible with our religious practices when necessary and not be too strict or rigid in our interpretation of Islamic teachings. We should also strive to make sure we are praying at the right times as prescribed by Allah SWT.
