QUICK LESSONS:
Pray regularly as part of your daily routine

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice of praying two rak’ah after ‘asr. ‘Asr is one of the five daily prayers in Islam and it occurs in the afternoon. The hadith was narrated by Abu Ishaq who heard Masruq and Al-Aswad say that they bear witness to what Aishah said - that when the Messenger of Allah was with her after ‘asr he would pray these two rak’ah. This shows us how important prayer is for Muslims and how we should strive to make time for it even if we are busy or have other commitments. It also teaches us that prayer should be done regularly as part of our daily routine so that we can stay connected with Allah and remember Him throughout our day.
