Catchup on missed parts in prayer

This hadith is about making up for missed prayers. It teaches us that if we miss any part of our prayer, we should make it up afterwards. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that whoever catches up with a rak’ah of one of the prayers has caught up with it, except they have to make up the portion they missed. This means that if someone misses any part of their prayer, they must complete what was left out in order to fulfill their obligation as Muslims.
