Catching Up With Prayers

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ taught that if one catches up with a Rak'ah of Fajr before sunrise or a Rak'ah of 'Asr before sunset, then they have caught up with it.

It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Prophet said: "Whoever catches up with a Rak'ah of Fajr before the sun rises, then he has caught up with it; and whoever catches up with a Rak'ah of 'Asr before the sun sets, then he has caught up with it".

QUICK LESSONS:
Catch up with your prayers before sunrise/sunset if you are late for them .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us the importance of praying on time. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that if one catches up with a Rak'ah of Fajr before sunrise or a Rak'ah of 'Asr before sunset, then they have caught up with it. This means that even if we are late for prayer and miss some parts, we can still make it in time to catch the last part and be counted as having prayed on time. It is important to remember this lesson so that we can make sure to pray our prayers on time and not miss out on any blessings from Allah SWT.

This hadith also teaches us about the importance of punctuality in our lives. We should strive to be punctual in all aspects so that we can reap the rewards from Allah SWT for being obedient and following His commands. We should also remember to be mindful when setting our clocks so that we don't miss out on any prayers due to incorrect timing or miscalculations.
