QUICK LESSONS:
Take time out from busy lives, Spend quality time with family, Enjoy oneself in a safe and responsible manner

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to a time when the Companions of the Prophet would pray their evening prayer, known as maghrib. After completing their prayer they would go back to their families in Al-Madinah and shoot arrows into the air to see where they landed. This was done because it was still bright enough outside for them to be able to do so. This hadith teaches us that even after we have completed our religious obligations we can still find ways to enjoy ourselves with our families in a safe and responsible manner. It also shows us that it is important for us to take time out from our busy lives and spend quality time with those closest to us.
