Complaining to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the companions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) complaining to him about the heat of the sand, and his response.

It was narrated that Khabbab said: "We complained to the Messenger of Alalh about how hot the sand was, but he did not respond to our complaint". It was said to Abu Ishaq (one of the narrators): "Did they complain regarding his praying it early?" He said: "Yes".
أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ خَبَّابٍ، قَالَ شَكَوْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ حَرَّ الرَّمْضَاءِ فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا ‏.‏ قِيلَ لأَبِي إِسْحَاقَ فِي تَعْجِيلِهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a group of companions who complained to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ about how hot the sand was. The Prophet ﷺ did not respond to their complaint. When asked if they were complaining regarding his praying it early, Abu Ishaq said yes. This hadith teaches us that we should be patient when faced with difficulties and hardships, as well as being mindful of our words when speaking to others, especially those in authority or respected figures such as Prophets. We should also remember that Allah SWT knows best and will always provide us with what is best for us in this life and in the hereafter.
