This hadith talks about the ritual of taking a bath after sexual intercourse, known as Ghusl. According to this hadith, when the Prophet Muhammad performed Ghusl from Janabah, he would call for something like a vessel used for milking a she-camel and take some water in his hands and start with the right side of his head then left side before pouring it on his head. This shows us that even in matters related to cleanliness and hygiene, Muslims should follow the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad as closely as possible. It also teaches us that we should be mindful and conscious about our cleanliness at all times.
