Reciting Quran During Menstruation

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to lay his head in the lap of one of his wives and recite the Quran while she was menstruating.

Maimunah said: "The Messenger of Allah used to lay his head in the lap of one of us and recite Qur'an while she was menstruating, and one of us would take the mat to the Masjid and spread it out when she was menstruating".
