Menstruation and Fondling in Islam

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) advised women to tie their waist wrap tightly during menstruation and allowed them to be fondled.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah would tell one of us, if she was menstruating, to tie her Izar (waist wrap) tightly then he would fondle her".

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Islamic teachings regarding menstruating women; Provide emotional support; Treat others with respect and kindness; Tie your waist wrap tightly if you are menstruating.

EXPLANATIONS:
In Islam, menstruating women are advised to tie their waist wrap tightly. This is because it is believed that the waist wrap helps reduce the discomfort associated with menstrual cramps. Additionally, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also allowed for these women to be fondled by their husbands or family members as a way of providing comfort and support during this time. This hadith serves as an example of how Islam provides guidance on how men should treat women with respect and kindness even during times when they may feel uncomfortable or vulnerable. It also highlights the importance of providing emotional support for those who are going through difficult times in life.
