Kindness and Respect During Menstruation

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) showing kindness and respect to his wife Aisha (RA) even when she was menstruating.

It was narrated that 'Aishah, may Allah be pleased with her, said: "While I was menstruating, I would nibble meat from a bone and the Messenger of Allah would put his mouth where mine has been. And while I was menstruating, I would drink from a vessel and he would put his mouth where mine had been".

QUICK LESSONS:
Showing kindness and respect towards our loved ones regardless of any circumstances .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the kindness and respect that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) showed to his wife Aisha (RA). Even though she was menstruating, he still showed her love and care by drinking from a vessel after her or putting his mouth where hers had been after nibbling meat from a bone. This shows us how important it is for us to show kindness and respect towards our loved ones regardless of any circumstances. It also teaches us that we should not discriminate against anyone due to their physical state or condition as this goes against Islamic teachings.
