EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how Prophet Muhammad PBUH used to rest his head on one of his wives’ laps while she was menstruating and he would recite the Quran. This shows us that even though a woman is menstruating, it does not mean that she cannot be around her husband or take part in activities such as reciting the Quran. It also teaches us that we should always strive to learn more about our religion by reading and reciting from the holy book, no matter what situation we are in. Furthermore, this hadith also highlights how important it is for husbands to show love and respect towards their wives even during times when they may feel uncomfortable or embarrassed due to their physical state.
