How the Prophet Performed Ghusl from Janabah

SUMMARY: The hadith explains how the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) performed Ghusl from Janabah.

It was narrated that Abu Salamah said: "I asked 'Aishah about how the Messenger of Allah performed Ghusl from Janabah. She said: 'The Messenger of Allah used to pour water onto his hands three times, then he would wash his private part, then he would wash his hands, then rinse his mouth and nose, then pour water onto his head three times, then pour water over the rest of his body'."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ - رضى الله عنها - عَنْ غُسْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ فَقَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ يُفْرِغُ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ يَغْسِلُ فَرْجَهُ ثُمَّ يَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ يُمَضْمِضُ وَيَسْتَنْشِقُ ثُمَّ يُفْرِغُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ يُفِيضُ عَلَى سَائِرِ جَسَدِهِ
