QUICK LESSONS:
Be respectful towards others even if you are competing with them or trying to get something limited in supply; Be humble; Be generous towards others; Make sure everyone gets what they need before taking more than your share .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad and his wife Aisha competing to use water from one vessel for their ritual bath. It shows us how much they respected each other and how they were humble even when it came to something as simple as using water from a single vessel. They both wanted to make sure that the other person got enough of the limited resource so they would compete with each other until one of them said “leave me some” and then the other would do the same. This teaches us that we should always be respectful towards others, even if we are competing with them or trying to get something that is limited in supply. We should also be humble and generous towards others, making sure that everyone gets what they need before taking more than our share.
