QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Islamic rituals like Wuzoo & Gusul prescribed by Islam for physical & spiritual cleanliness & purity .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice of performing wudu and ghusl. Wudu is a ritual washing performed by Muslims before prayer or other acts that require purity according to Islamic law. It involves washing the hands, face, arms up to the elbows, wiping the head and ears, washing the feet up to the ankles. Ghusl is a full body ritual cleansing which includes taking a shower or bath in order for one to be considered pure according to Islamic law. In this hadith it was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Jabr said he heard Anas bin Malik say that The Messenger of Allah used to perform wudu with one makkuk and ghusl with five makkuks. A makkuk is an earthenware vessel which was commonly used in Arabia during Prophet Muhammad's time for various purposes such as storing water or food items etc. This hadith teaches us about how important it is for Muslims to maintain cleanliness both physically as well as spiritually through rituals such as wudhu and gusul prescribed by Islam. It also shows us how even though times have changed since then we should still strive towards following these teachings in our daily lives so we can stay close to Allah SWT’s commands.
