Performing Ghusl and Entering Ihram After Childbirth

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) instructed Abu Bakr to tell Asma' bint 'Umair to perform Ghusl and enter Ihram after she gave birth in Dhul-Hulaifah.

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah, in the Hadith of Asma' bint 'Umair, when she gave birth in Dhul-Hulaifah, that the Messenger of Allah said to Abu Bakr: "Tell her to perform Ghusl and enter Ihram".
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، فِي حَدِيثِ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ حِينَ نُفِسَتْ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ لأَبِي بَكْرٍ ‏ "‏ مُرْهَا أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ وَتُهِلَّ

EXPLANATIONS:
