Umm Habibah bint Jahsh was suffering from a condition known as Istihadah which is non-menstrual vaginal bleeding. This condition can last for several years and it can be very difficult to manage. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) advised her to perform Ghusl which is a ritual cleansing with water before she prayed. This hadith teaches us that even if we are going through difficult times in our lives, we should still take care of our religious obligations such as prayer. It also shows us the importance of seeking advice from knowledgeable people when we are facing challenges in life.
