The hadith narrated by Safwan bin 'Assal speaks about the etiquette of clothing during travel. It is reported that when the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions were on a journey, he instructed them to not take off their clothes for three days, except in the case of Janabah. This means that they should keep their clothes on even when they are sleeping or going to the bathroom. This hadith teaches us about modesty and cleanliness while travelling as well as respecting our own bodies and those around us. It also encourages us to be mindful of our actions and how we present ourselves in public spaces.
