The Power of Wudu

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the importance of performing wudu and how it can be an expiation for sins.

QUICK LESSONS:
Perform wudu completely as commanded by Allah

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of performing wudu as commanded by Allah. Wudu is a ritual cleansing that Muslims must perform before prayer or any other religious activity. It involves washing one's hands, face and feet with water. According to this hadith, if a person performs wudu completely as commanded by Allah then their five daily prayers will be an expiation for whatever comes in between them. This means that if a person has committed any sins in between their five daily prayers then those sins will be forgiven if they have performed wudu properly beforehand. This hadith emphasizes the power of prayer and how it can help us to stay on the right path even when we make mistakes or sin unintentionally. It also encourages us to take responsibility for our actions and strive to do better in order to receive forgiveness from Allah through prayer and repentance.
