QUICK LESSONS:
Perform ritual ablution with wet hands while wearing khuffs without taking them off .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the permissibility of wiping over one's khuffs. A khuff is a type of leather sock that covers the foot and ankle. The hadith states that it is permissible to wipe over these socks instead of washing them when performing wudu, or ritual ablution. This means that one does not have to take off their socks every time they perform wudu in order to wash their feet; rather, they can simply wipe over them with wet hands and this will suffice for purification purposes. This ruling was given by Prophet Muhammad himself and has been accepted by Islamic scholars throughout history as a valid practice for Muslims who wear khuffs during prayer or other religious activities. The main idea behind this ruling is convenience; it allows Muslims to perform their religious duties without having to go through extra steps such as taking off and putting on their socks each time they need to perform wudu.
