Wudu While Travelling

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) demonstrated the proper way to perform wudu (ablution) while on a journey.

Al-Qaisi narrated that he was with the Messenger of Allah on a journey, and some water was brought to him. He poured some onto his hands from the vessel and washed them once, then he washed his face and each arm once, and he washed his feet with both hands.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's demonstration of how to properly perform wudu while travelling. Wudu is an Islamic ritual that involves washing certain parts of the body with water in order to be considered clean and ready for prayer. The Prophet Muhammad showed that when performing wudu on a journey, one should pour some water onto their hands from a vessel and wash them once. Then they should wash their face and each arm once before finally washing their feet with both hands. This hadith teaches us that even when we are travelling or away from home we must still take care to maintain our religious obligations such as performing wudu correctly before prayer.
