The hadith narrated by 'Aishah mentions that the Prophet Muhammad used to like to start with the right whenever he could, when purifying himself or when putting on shoes or combing his hair. Shu'bah then heard Al-Ash'ath in Wasit saying that he liked to start with the right, and preferred it in all his affairs. He also heard him in Al-Kufah saying that he liked to start with the right whenever he could. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive for excellence in our actions by starting from our right side as much as possible, as this was a preference of Prophet Muhammad's.
