Sunan an-Nasai 56 (Book 1, Hadith 56) #14662
Kindness and Understanding in the Masjid

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us to be kind and understanding towards others, even when they make mistakes.

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "A Bedouin stood up and urinated in the Masjid, ans the people started shouting. The Messenger of Allah said to them: 'Leave him alone, and spill a bucket of water over his urine. For you have been sent to make things easy for people, you have not been sent to make things difficult'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Show kindness and understanding towards others even if they make mistakes

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that we should always be kind and understanding towards others, even if they make mistakes. The Prophet Muhammad was once in a mosque when a Bedouin man urinated there. Everyone started shouting at him, but the Prophet told them to leave him alone and spill a bucket of water over his urine instead. This shows us that we should not be too harsh on people who make mistakes; rather, we should try to help them out in any way possible. We can learn from this hadith that it is important to show kindness and understanding towards others, no matter what their mistake may have been.
