The Prophet's Wudu' and Istinja'

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ performed Wudu' and Istinja', and then rubbed his hands on the ground.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet performed Wudu', and when he had performed Istinja' he rubbed his hand on the ground.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ تَوَضَّأَ فَلَمَّا اسْتَنْجَى دَلَكَ يَدَهُ بِالأَرْضِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet's practice of performing ablution and cleaning himself after using the toilet. After completing these two acts, he would rub his hands on the ground. This act was done to symbolize humility before Allah as well as to cleanse himself from any impurities that may have been left behind from either of these acts. It also serves as a reminder for us to be humble in our worship of Allah and to take care in cleansing ourselves both physically and spiritually.
