QUICK LESSONS:
Take care of one’s physical appearance according to Islamic teachings .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the advice of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ regarding facial hair. He advised that men should trim their mustaches and let their beards grow. This was a sign of respect for Islamic teachings, as well as a way to distinguish Muslims from non-Muslims in those times. It also showed that Muslims were proud of their faith and wanted to show it through their appearance. The hadith also teaches us that we should take care of our appearance, but not go overboard with it, as this can lead to vanity or pride which are not encouraged in Islam. We should strive for balance between taking care of our physical appearance while still keeping modesty in mind at all times.
