Show respect towards your elders; Help out your elderly relatives/neighbors; Be kind & generous towards your elderly; Spend time with your elderly so they don't feel lonely/isolated from society; Give precedence over others when matters arise concerning elders .

This hadith speaks about the importance of respecting elders. In this hadith, Prophet Muhammad was shown a vision in which two people were competing for a miswak, and he gave it to the older one instead of the younger one.
