EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about how one should not praise rulers too much. It is narrated by Abu Ma'mar that a person praised a ruler and Miqdad threw dust upon him. This action was done because it was commanded by Allah's Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him). The Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) taught us to be humble and not to shower too much praise on anyone, especially rulers. We should respect them but we must also remember that they are only human beings like us. We should not put them on pedestals or think of them as gods or infallible beings. This hadith teaches us to be humble in our interactions with others, even if they are in positions of power or authority over us.
