EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Abu Aiyub Al-Ansari, teaches us that it is not permissible to face or turn one's back towards the Qibla when answering the call of nature in an open space. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ instructed us to either face east or west while performing this act. This hadith serves as a reminder for Muslims to be mindful and respectful when performing their daily activities, even if it is something as simple as answering the call of nature. We should always remember that Allah ﷻ sees and knows all our actions and we should strive to do them with utmost respect and humility.
