Sahih al-Bukhari 1494 (Book 24, Hadith 94) #1433
Gratitude for Charity

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) was grateful for the charity given to him and his family, and he acknowledged it as a gift.

Narrated Um 'Atiyya Al-Ansariya: The Prophet went to 'Aisha and asked her whether she had something (to eat). She replied that she had nothing except the mutton (piece) which Nusaiba (Um 'Atiyya) had sent to us (Barirah) in charity". The Prophet said, "It has reached its place and now it is not a thing of charity but a gift for us".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of being thankful for charity. It is narrated by Um 'Atiyya Al-Ansariya that the Prophet (ﷺ) went to 'Aisha and asked her if she had something to eat. She replied that she only had a piece of mutton which Nusaiba had sent in charity. The Prophet (ﷺ) said that it has reached its place and now it is not a thing of charity but a gift for them. This shows us how important it is to be grateful for any kind of help or assistance we receive from others, even if it's just something small like food or money. We should always remember that Allah rewards those who are thankful, so we should strive to show our gratitude whenever possible.
