EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith from Anas b. Malik speaks of the two ultimate destinations for mankind - Paradise and Hell-Fire. It explains that while the path to Paradise is filled with hardships and difficulties, the path to Hell-Fire is lined with temptations and desires. This teaches us that in order to reach our ultimate goal of entering paradise we must be willing to endure hardships along our journey while avoiding any temptations or desires that may lead us astray from our righteous path. We must also remember that Allah will reward those who persevere through their struggles with a place in paradise where they can enjoy its eternal bliss forevermore.
