Sahih Muslim 2876a (Book 53, Hadith 94) #14278
Reckoning on the Day of Resurrection

SUMMARY: On the Day of Resurrection, everyone will be presented with their deeds and those who are thoroughly examined in reckoning will be put to torment.

'A'isha reported that Allah's Messenger said: He who is taken to account on the Day of Resurrection is in fact put to torment. I said: Has Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, not said this: 'He will be made subject to an easy reckoning" (IXXXIV. 8)? Thereupon he said: (What it implies) is not the actual reckoning, but only the presentation of one's deeds to Him. He who is thoroughly examined in reckoning is put to torment.

QUICK LESSONS:
Strive to do good deeds , Remain steadfast in faith , Trust Allah knows best what is happening .

EXPLANATIONS:
On the Day of Judgement, every person will have their deeds presented before them and they will be held accountable for them. Those who are thoroughly examined in this process will be put to torment as a result. This hadith serves as a reminder for us to strive to do good deeds so that we can avoid being put through this difficult process on the day of judgement. We should also remember that even if we do not get punished for our wrongdoings here on earth, Allah is still aware and we must answer for our actions when it comes time for judgement day.

The hadith also teaches us about patience and perseverance; even if we are faced with difficult circumstances or hardships, it is important to remain steadfast in our faith and trust that Allah knows best what is happening in our lives. We should also remember that no matter how hard things may seem now, there is always hope because ultimately justice will prevail on judgement day when all wrongdoings are accounted for and punished accordingly.
