Dispute between Paradise and Hell

SUMMARY: The Paradise and the Hell disputed with each other, and Allah said that He will fill both of them.

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported that Allah's Messenger said: The Paradise and the Hell disputed with each other. The rest of the hadith is the same as transmitted by Abu Huraira up to the words'". It is essential for Me to fill up both of you".
وَحَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏"‏ احْتَجَّتِ الْجَنَّةُ وَالنَّارُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ ‏"‏ وَلِكِلَيْكُمَا عَلَىَّ مِلْؤُهَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ مَا بَعْدَهُ مِنَ الزِّيَادَةِ

EXPLANATIONS:
According to this hadith narrated by Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, it is reported that Allah's Messenger said that the Paradise and the Hell were disputing with each other. In response to their dispute, Allah said that He will fill both of them. This hadith teaches us about the importance of faith in God's justice as well as His mercy. It also reminds us to be mindful of our actions since we are accountable for our deeds in this life which will determine our fate in the hereafter. Furthermore, it encourages us to strive for good deeds so we can be rewarded with a place in paradise instead of hellfire.
