Honoring Allah with due Respect

SUMMARY: This hadith is about a Jew scholar who visited the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and was honored by him. The Prophet (PBUH) recited a verse from the Quran to emphasize the importance of honoring Allah.

This hadlth has been narrated on the authority of Mansur with the same chain of truemittm (and the words are): A Jew scholar came to Allah's Messenger . The rest of the hadith is the same, but there is no mention of" then He would stir them". But there is this addition:" I saw Allah's Messenger smiling so much that his front teeth appeared and testifying him (th Jew scholar) ; then Allah's Messenger recited the verse:" And they honour not Allah with the honour due to Him" (xxxix. 67).
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ قَالَ جَاءَ حَبْرٌ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ فُضَيْلٍ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ ثُمَّ يَهُزُّهُنَّ ‏.‏ وَقَالَ فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ضَحِكَ حَتَّى بَدَتْ نَوَاجِذُهُ تَعَجُّبًا لِمَا قَالَ تَصْدِيقًا لَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏"‏ ‏{‏ وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ‏}‏ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَتَلاَ الآيَةَ

This hadith speaks about how we should honor and respect Allah with due reverence. It tells us that when a Jew scholar visited the Prophet Muhammad, he was welcomed warmly and honored by him. The Prophet then recited a verse from the Quran to emphasize how important it is for us to honor and respect God Almighty. He smiled so much that his front teeth were visible, which shows how pleased he was with this guest's visit. We can learn from this hadith that we should always show respect towards God as well as those around us, no matter what their faith or background may be. We must remember that all people are equal in His eyes and deserve our kindness and consideration at all times.
