Sahih Muslim 2813c (Book 52, Hadith 61) #14160
Sowing Dissension: A Trial from Satan

SUMMARY: The Satan sends detachments to put people to trial and the most notorious one is the one who sows dissension.

Jabir reported that Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: The Satan sends detachments of his own in order to put people to trial and the highest in rank, in his eyes, is one who is most notorious in sowing the seed of dissension.

QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for unity and peace among all people regardless of their differences
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of a trial sent by Satan in order to test people. It warns us that the highest rank in Satan's eyes is given to those who sow dissension among people, which means causing arguments and disagreements between them. We should be careful not to do this, as it can lead us astray from our faith and cause harm in our communities. Instead, we should strive for unity and peace among all people, regardless of their differences. We should also remember that Allah knows what we are doing at all times, so it is important for us to stay away from any actions or words that could lead us astray from His path.
