The Knowledge of Allah

SUMMARY: Allah is the only one who knows what the children of polytheists will do according to their creation.

Ibn Abbas reported that Allah's Messenger was asked about the children of the polytheists, whereupon he said: It is Allah alone Who knows what they would be doing according to their creation.
وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَطْفَالِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قَالَ ‏ "‏ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ إِذْ خَلَقَهُمْ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the knowledge of Allah and His power over all things. It teaches us that only Allah knows what will happen in the future and He is in control of all things. He has created everything with a purpose and it is up to Him to decide how it will turn out. We should not try to predict or guess what will happen because only Allah knows for sure. We should also remember that polytheism is wrong and we should stay away from it as much as possible.
