Rewarded for Removing an Inconvenience

SUMMARY: A person who removed a tree that was causing inconvenience to the Muslims was rewarded with entrance into Paradise.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger as saying that there was a tree which caused inconvenience to the Muslims; a person came there and cut that (tree) (and thus entered ) Paradise).
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ شَجَرَةً كَانَتْ تُؤْذِي الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَقَطَعَهَا فَدَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us that Allah rewards those who do good deeds and help others. In this case, a person removed a tree that was causing inconvenience to the Muslims and as a result of his good deed he was rewarded with entrance into Paradise. This teaches us that we should always strive to do good deeds and help others in need as it will be rewarded by Allah. We should also remember that even small acts of kindness can have great rewards from Allah.
