Treat others fairly and justly without punishing them unjustly or unfairly .

This hadith is about the punishment that Allah will give to those who torment people without any genuine reason. It was narrated by Hisham b. Hakim b. Hizam, who happened to pass by some people in Syria who were being punished for not paying the government revenue and olive-oil was being poured upon their heads as a form of punishment. He asked what was happening and when he found out, he said that Allah would punish those who torment people in this world without any genuine reason, meaning that it is wrong to punish someone if they have not done anything wrong or if there is no valid justification for it. This hadith teaches us that we should be careful with how we treat others and never do something unjustly or unfairly because Allah will eventually hold us accountable for our actions and judge us accordingly.
