Allah's Forgiveness and Concealment

SUMMARY: Allah will forgive and conceal the faults of those who He has forgiven in this world.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Apostle as saying: The servant (whose fault) Allah conceals in this world, Allah would also conceal (his faults) on the Day of Resurrection.

QUICK LESSONS:
Repent sincerely for your wrongdoings

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the mercy of Allah. It tells us that if we have done something wrong in this life, but Allah has chosen to forgive us and conceal our faults from others, then on the Day of Resurrection He will also forgive us and conceal our faults from others. This is a reminder that even when we make mistakes or do wrong things, if we repent sincerely then Allah is always willing to forgive us. It also reminds us that it is important for us to be forgiving towards others as well - just as Allah forgives and conceals our own mistakes so too should we be willing to do the same for those around us.
