The Importance of Family Ties

SUMMARY: Allah rewards those who maintain family ties and punishes those who break them.

QUICK LESSONS:
Maintain family ties no matter what happens

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of maintaining family ties. It is narrated by 'A'isha that the Prophet Muhammad said that the tie of kinship is suspended to the Throne and it pleads to Allah saying that whoever unites it will be united by Allah and whoever severs it will be severed by Him. This means that if one maintains their family ties then they will be rewarded by Allah while if one breaks them then they will be punished for it. This hadith teaches us to prioritize our relationships with our families and not let any differences come between us as this can lead to severe consequences in both this world and the hereafter. We should always strive to keep our families close together no matter what happens as this is a sign of true faithfulness towards God Almighty.
