Sahih al-Bukhari 1412 (Book 24, Hadith 16) #1356
Wealth and the Day of Judgment

SUMMARY: The Day of Judgment will not come until people have so much wealth that they are unable to give away their Zakat.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "The Hour (Day of Judgment) will not be established till your wealth increases so much so that one will be worried, for no one will accept his Zakat and the person to whom he will give it will reply, 'I am not in need of it'. "

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of wealth in relation to the Day of Judgment. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said that the Hour or Day of Judgment will not be established until people have so much wealth that they are unable to give away their Zakat. This means that when people have too much money and no one is willing to accept it as charity, then this is a sign that the end times are near. This hadith teaches us about how we should use our wealth responsibly and not let it become a burden on us or others. We should use our money for good causes such as helping those in need and giving charity whenever possible. It also reminds us to be mindful of how we spend our money and not let it become a source of worry or distress for ourselves or others.
