QUICK LESSONS:
Show kindness and respect to those who have passed away. Strive to emulate Allah’s attributes in our own lives by showing mercy towards others.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the compassion and mercy of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It tells us that when Jabir's father was brought to him in a state where his ears had been cut off, he showed great mercy and compassion towards him even though he was already deceased. This teaches us that we should always show kindness and respect to those who have passed away, as they are still deserving of our love and care. We should also remember that Allah is Most Merciful, so we should strive to emulate His attributes in our own lives by showing mercy towards others, even if they are no longer with us physically.
