The Compassionate's Throne Shakes

SUMMARY: The death of Sa'd caused the Throne of Allah to shake.

Anas b. Malik reported Allah's Messenger as saying: That his bier (that of Sa'd) was placed (before them) and the Throne of the most Compassionate shook.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرُّزِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ الْخَفَّافُ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَجِنَازَتُهُ مَوْضُوعَةٌ - يَعْنِي سَعْدًا - ‏ "‏ اهْتَزَّ لَهَا عَرْشُ الرَّحْمَنِ

EXPLANATIONS:
When Sa'd passed away, it was so significant that even the throne of Allah shook in response. This shows how much Allah cares for His believers and how He is compassionate towards them. It also shows that death is a reality and should be taken seriously as it can come at any time without warning. Furthermore, this hadith serves as a reminder to us all to live our lives in accordance with the teachings of Islam and strive to please Allah in all we do so that when our time comes we will be welcomed into Paradise with open arms by Him.
