Sahih Muslim 2327d (Book 43, Hadith 106) #13131
Choosing the Easier Option

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) always chose the easier option as long as it did not involve any sin.

'A'isha reported: Never did Allah's Messenger make a choice between two things but adopting the easier one as compared to the difficult one, but his choice for the easier one was only in case it did not involve any sin, but if it involved sin he was the one who was the farthest from it amongst the people.

QUICK LESSONS:
Make good choices in life and strive for difficult tasks without involving sins.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that we should always choose the easier option in life if it does not involve any sin. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was an example of this and he was known to be the farthest from sin amongst all people. We can learn from this that we should strive to make good choices in our lives and stay away from anything that is sinful or wrong. We should also remember that even if something is difficult but involves no sin, then we should still strive for it and put in effort to achieve it.
