Driving with Care

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) advised his slave Anjasha to drive slowly while transporting glass vessels.

Anas reported that Allah's Messenger had in one of his journeys his black slave who was called Anjasha along with him. He goaded by singing the songs of camel-driver. Thereupon Allah's Messenger said: Anjasha, drive slowly as you are driving (the mounts who are carrying) glass vessels
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الْعَتَكِيُّ، وَحَامِدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ جَمِيعًا عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فِي بَعْضِ أَسْفَارِهِ وَغُلاَمٌ أَسْوَدُ يُقَالُ لَهُ أَنْجَشَةُ يَحْدُو فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ يَا أَنْجَشَةُ رُوَيْدَكَ سَوْقًا بِالْقَوَارِيرِ

This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's journey with his black slave, Anjasha. During the journey, Anjasha was singing songs of a camel-driver and the Prophet advised him to drive slowly as he was carrying glass vessels. This hadith teaches us that we should always be careful and take caution when handling fragile items or doing any task that requires extra attention. It also teaches us to be mindful of our actions and words, as even something seemingly small like singing can distract us from our duties. We should also remember that Allah is always watching over us and He knows what we are doing at all times.
