Sahih Muslim 2307b (Book 43, Hadith 66) #13091
Reassurance in Times of Fear

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) borrowed a horse from Abu Talha and rode it, reassuring the people of Medina that there was no reason to be afraid.

Anas reported that there was consternation in Medina. The Messenger of Allah borrowed the horse from Abu Talha which was called Mandub. He rode it and said: We have found no reason for consternation, and we have found it to be (as quick as a torrent) of water.

EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad PBUH is reported to have borrowed a horse from Abu Talha and ridden it while reassuring the people of Medina that there was no reason to be afraid. This hadith serves as an example for us to follow in times of fear or distress; instead of panicking, we should remain calm and trust in Allah's plan. The Prophet PBUH also used a metaphor to describe his ride on the horse - he said it was like riding a torrent of water - which shows us how important it is for us to stay focused on our goals even when things seem difficult or overwhelming. We can learn from this hadith that we should always strive for peace and tranquility even when faced with adversity.
