QUICK LESSONS:
Respect life and avoid committing sins like suicide.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that suicide is a major sin and those who commit it will be punished in the afterlife. It was narrated by Abu Huraira- that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "He who commits suicide by throttling shall keep on throttling himself in the Hell Fire (forever) and he who commits suicide by stabbing himself shall keep on stabbing himself in the Hell-Fire". This means that those who take their own lives will suffer for eternity as punishment for their actions. The Prophet ﷺ also warned against committing such an act, as it is considered one of the gravest sins according to Islamic teachings. Therefore, Muslims should strive to avoid taking their own lives at all costs, as they will face severe consequences if they do so.
