The Extensive Cistern of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that his cistern would be very large and contain many jugs.

Anas b. Malik reported Allah's Messenger as saying: My Cistern would be as extensive as the distance between Aila and San'a, of Yemen, and there would be in it jugs like stars in the sky.
وَحَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّحَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ قَدْرُ حَوْضِي كَمَا بَيْنَ أَيْلَةَ وَصَنْعَاءَ مِنَ الْيَمَنِ وَإِنَّ فِيهِ مِنَ الأَبَارِيقِ كَعَدَدِ نُجُومِ السَّمَاءِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's cistern, which he said would be as extensive as the distance between two cities in Yemen, called Aila and Sana. He also said that it would contain jugs like stars in the sky, meaning there would be a lot of them! This hadith teaches us to have faith in Allah's promises and to trust that He will provide for us even if we cannot see it yet.
