Learn accurately and patiently without changing any details while transferring knowledge .

This hadith talks about a cistern which was narrated by Thaubin who heard it from Muhammad Bashshar who in turn heard it from Yahya bin Hammad who got it from Abu Awana who got it originally from Shuba . It shows us how important knowledge is as we can see how many people were involved in passing on this information . It also shows us the importance of being able to pass on knowledge accurately as each person passed on what they learnt without changing any details . We can learn valuable lessons such as being patient when learning something new or teaching someone else something new ,as well as making sure we are accurate when passing on information so that nothing gets lost in translation .
