Anas reported Allah's Apostle was at az-Zaura' and a vessel containing water was brought to him in which his finger could not be completely dipped or completely covered; the rest of the hadith is the same.

QUICK LESSONS:
Make use of limited resources in the best way possible; Be content with what you have; Strive for only what is necessary; Show gratitude towards Allah's provision.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's visit to a place called az-Zaura'. During his visit, he was presented with a vessel containing water. However, the vessel was too small for his finger to be completely dipped or covered in it. This hadith teaches us that even though we may have limited resources, we should still strive to make use of them in the best way possible. It also encourages us to be content with what we have and not strive for more than what is necessary. Furthermore, it reminds us that Allah will always provide for our needs no matter how small they may seem.
